It's been claimed that by using membership functions bounded with crisp numbers, traditional fuzzy logic actually eliminates uncertainty. "Type 2" Fuzzy Logic is an extension of traditional ("Type 1") fuzzy logic that explicitly conserves uncertainty. It's theoretically possible to implement a type 2 using one or more membership functions constructed (in Fuzz-C, at least) with variable members.

If you use Microchip's MPLAB as an IDE for Byte Craft Limited's MPC Code Development System, we recommend you update MPLAB to a version no greater than 7.50.

This version promises to resolve an "extended instruction" error message that some users have reported to Byte Craft Limited. See this document for more details.
