Installing Code Development Systems on Windows XP

We've had reports of an installation problem from users installing Code Development Systems on Windows XP. An incomplete Windows XP installation might report the following error:

 16 bit Windows Subsystem C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.  The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
